Environmental Education

We recognize environmental education as an important aspect in the integral education of young people for helping to conserve the trees and green spaces. For this reason, we organized an activity with students from “Las Flores” where we explained sown and germination process. In an amusing activity in groups, we explicated an easy practice to help the environment and to reduce the consequences of deforestation. We used cotton, water, beans, and glasses to teach them that it is really easy but at the same time it is necessary and very important to care of the environment.

Raising Awareness

We visited different houses of the sector and we distributed brochures which tells the importance in caring of trees to people form the community. It was a wonderful experience because people did not know that their help is necessary to conserve the nature. For this reason, families in the neighborhood promised to help in the conservation of green spaces.

Our Objectives

The main goal of our campaign is the “Improvement of our leadership skills as agents of changes generating a great impact in “Las Flores” community in order to changes their life conditions teaching them how to mitigate the consequences of deforestation by planting trees”. For this reason, we established the three following objectives:

1.        Create green spaces to reduce effects of the global warming by deforesting areas used by future generations.

2.        Recognize environmental education as an important aspect in the integral education of young people for helping to conserve the trees and green spaces.

3.    Raise awareness about the importance of an ecological life's style by making known mechanisms of reforestation with local authorities.
